Short rear MTB mudguard recommendations?

I run an "original" mudhugger on one of my mtb's, but I fear it's disk only.

It looks like it's designed for a chainstay u-brake.

Idiot that I am I just bought a set to see if they’re any good! Seem quite versatile and well thought out actually, lots of options for mounting. Not sure whether I’ll use them as I already have a surplus of mudguards but these look like they might be a good option for bikes that lack the proper bosses and mounts.,,

I've had this one on a wanted list for a long time, then saw it on sale (front is on the way):



Anyone with experience of these Mucky Nutz guards? You can keep the short version on the bike, then clip in the longer extension for wetter conditions. Comes with it's own 90s friendly bag too.
