I gotta say my first ebike, a Carrera Subway E, is nearly 4 years old and still going strong. No faults, and it has little trouble assisting my 277lbs up hills. I made the conscious decision to get the Subway to avoid getting lumbered with horrible budget suspension or Wang tang woo sung Shimano copy gripshit gears. Still only £1300 now, so if anyone wanted an ebike on a budget that's the direction in which I'd point them.

Currently less, £989, which is fair to be honest, and if i was looking for something as a basic, i'd much prefer to get one from a reputable maker than something from someone ive never heard of.
