Looking much fresher, is the paint the same kind of "frosted" finish I've noticed a lot of Shoguns seem to sport?

Hard to see from the first picture, but if it was still wearing any of its original Shimano parts, they can be used to figure out a build date. They stamped a date code on the back of everything, charts are pretty easy to find. Singlespeed build looks great

Yeah it does have that frosted finish. Had never seen that on a bike before, seems to clean quite easily when you are wiping it.

First ride into work today on it and very happy with it.
