I'm basically putting myself out there for you to tell me what an idiot I've been.
Just received a lovely Vanilla RC i got on ebay. The chap had it advertised as 210mm long with 2 inches of travel. I just made the assumption that it was the 200mm i2i I was looking for and as the clock was ticking, I got my sniper finger poised. I won - great!
Got the parcel today, opened the box, had a wee general look at it, got out the measuring tape - 190mm i2i - not so great.
I sometimes think of mail order and parcels to be alot like christmas as a child. The excitement, the anticipation, the sheer and utter disappointment of the item not being quite what you hoped.
There is a plus I suppose. It's forced me to measure up properly and although i knew i needed a 200mm i2i, i also thought stroke length was to the bumper giving me 50mm measurement. Not so. Turns out what i need is 2.25in stroke.
I should pay more attention. Feel free to tell me what a doughnut i am.
