Two sets of XTR V brakes BR-M951 (the ones with the anti squeal Springs) for sale. I've owned these since new - purchased in 1999 (I think) from Sandy Wallace Cycles in Inverkeithing sadly no longer there. These have always been very well looked after and regularly stripped and rebuilt. The bike these were on hasn't been used for the last 15 years and has been dry stored and only recently dusted off. As such I thought it prudent to do a full strip to check for any hidden issues. Thankfully these are still in excellent mechanical condition and are not yet anywhere near the point of needing shimmed. They have been rebuilt with marine grease and have been nipped up and backed off so may need 'slightly' readjusted using 14mm and 17mm cone spanners once mounted. Payment by PayPal only and will be sent registered and insured mainland UK post only. Was kinda shocked at the price of obviously mediocre sets on EBay. Price is £120 plus fees plus postage. Pretty sure I have a bagged new Avid noodle that I'll also chuck in. I'll try and take some clearer better lit photos tomorrow and post them up. There are very small marks here and there but nothing I think any sane person would have any issues with. Also includes the elusive mounting fasteners. Kool stop pads are fine but probably could do with binning as they are so old. They still work fine regardless and dare I say it better modulation than my Hope Tech 3 E4s and just as powerful in the dry. Wet is of course another story.
