Shimano XTR M900 Upgrade

Hi guys,
I've got a Zaskar LE GT All Terra, and after searching online, I'm guessing that I've got a XTR M900. It's a 8 speed XTR. I fell off my bike and after getting up I had to cycle it back home. The rear derailleur then bent into the alloy when I decided to get on the bike again a hour later and the wheel locked up. Pieces of rubber came out so I guess the entire derailleur needed replacing. I'm quite young and only have around £50-60 to spend to get a new derailleur. I'm not an expert on bikes, so I was wondering if you guys could help me and suggest which one I should get? If there is no good ones in that price range should I get a used XTR M900?
Thanks in advance

Re:

FUBAR :( use extreme care getting the mech off the frame and then check the frame is straight. You should be able to get a decent used XTR rear mech from the For Sale pages for less than your budget. Don't put modern stuff on a nice old bike :D

What parts do you think I'd need to replace if it was that bad? I'd prefer new parts as I'd like to be reassured that they're not broken and can be better than the parts currently on the bike. Is there any better parts I can buy for this bike that aren't modern within my budget?

Re:

Unfortunately you're going to need a trip to a decent bike shop. The dropout that attaches the mech to the bike is bent and will need to be bent back into shape. It's something you can do if you know what you are doing but with a frame like that it's best to get it done properly otherwise the gears will never shift properly again.

Search the classifieds for a replacement m900 or a m735 first and then take the whole lot to a good shop for fixing

Re:

It's the frame and you need to get that fixed as the hanger has bent.

most the mech will be fine, possibly a bent bolt or now rear plate which you can replace and get a new jockey wheel.
Take it of and get some more pictures, you local to anyone on here.

frame is going to be the problem though.

I took the bike to a bike shop close to me. They've told me about the frame, and how it may break if they bend it again. Is it possible to buy a piece to replace it, while maintaining how light this bike is? The rims also need to be replaced. Is there any wheels I can buy in a pair for around £100 to replace these which are a close match, or even lighter in weight compared to the XTR M900 alloys?
