Shimano XTR m900 paint code?

Has anyone looked into what the actual paint code was that shimano used?
Or have you found a close match in a rattle can? I imagine it’s called ‘space blue’ or the like...

In the absence of anyone giving an answer yet - have you tried an auto paint shop?

They have spectra-something-or-other gadgets for analysing finish colours and identifying the code or matching with a custom brew.

They can even mix it up and pump it into a rattle can.

I doubt there is a paint code because the components would have been anodised, but you should get a decent colour match. Whether you can get the same finish is another thing, may need to have a metallic added or be applied over a silver base coat or something. Again, the auto paint gurus could assist there.
