Shimano XTR 952 front derailleur bottom pull?

Maybe a idiot question......

Is the xtr 952 front derailleur also for bottom pull?
i know its a top swing.

They didn't come as dual pull i.e. two for one. They did come in separate flavours.

Got a feeling one might be model 952 and the other version model 953, someone might correct me but i'm pretty sure I've had all of them (pull from top, pull from bottom and the BB mount versions). I've got 3 bikes in my collection carrying full M952 groupset and next time I get to look at them i'll check for you.

I e read my rather cryptic reply. I've had many an m95x build and the dual pull versions came later than m950/1/2/3 range. I've still got a few builds wearing it and a few spare bits for other builds, all are a single pull so either top or bottom. I've been in positions where I've had the opposite mechs for builds and had to buy the correct one. I'm not sure if m960 was dual pull, but m970 was as I've got a build or two with that.

M953 was high clamp. Bottom pull for sure but not sure about top pull.

M950 came in both pull options.

Well needed a bottom pull,with top swing.
Found one,and is on it s way.
So will mounting it this christmas
