Hi All,

I am after a Left shifter for a 1995 Marin Nail Trail.

Its a Shimano MC-32... anyone have one lying around?!

Hi,
Welcome to Retrobike!
Hope you've already been warned about the danger to bank balance/kids dinner money fund/family relationships that generally starts here.Hope the experience is a great one.Personally have found loads of help/information/spares etc.Great bunch of people.
Is that STX/STX RC?Just out of interest,do you have a faulty shifter you need to replace? There's a common fix for sticking Shimano shifters if that's your issue?

Thanks Captain! Yes there is a faulty shifter I need to replace, I’ve tried oiling and loosening the return catch inside but I think the mainspring has broken.

i think they are STX RC. I will post a photo later.

Ok.May have one but if you can't see anything broken there's still a good chance it could be freed off.Personally I remove them n leave them to soak in degreaser for a day or two (sometimes longer) n keep working the mechanisms/scrub with toothbrush.9 times out of ten that's sorted them for me.Not often managed to free them in situ.
