Sorry, just wanted to tell someone, I just bought a whole groupset from CRC. I'm quite excited really. Christmas present to me! :xmas-wink:

I have a feeling that DA 9000 could be an 'M900 XTR' moment in quality / finish / aesthetic / performance so thought I'd take the plunge as it will be the 'go-to' groupset in about 20 years time for 'Retro' carbon road bike builds.

Dura Ace 9100 may be great but it is not a looker. Much like M950 vs M900 in my eyes.

I'll be putting it on my Wilier GTR which already has 6800 Ultegra and Mavic Cosmics. Probably put the 6800 on my Scandium Wilier. :D

It may just be me being an old fart but to my eyes there are a lot of fugly components around these days.

I'm also dubious about the availability of those oddly spaced four arm chainrings in the future. Shimano have messed about with crank/chainring designs in the past with intergral spiders, or carriers for other rings rendering the whole lot pretty much useless several years later when those crank specific rings are no longer readily available.
