Shimano 600AX arabesque brakeset.. How much is it worth?

Took this off a peugeot bike i got.. Not really my style but i wonder if its worth anything before i put it on ebay for £20?

Odd combination, If the levers were in super condition WITH hoods they would sell for at least £60 but it is the hoods that are the money. Without them maybe £20.

The calipers may be worth £20 to £25.

I would wait for another opinion but that is mine. GLWS

They had these hoods on but im pretty sure thay are replacements..

You're right, they are the wrong hoods, the 600AX hoods fit snugly around the shape of the casing and are usually gum coloured.....and hard to find.

I think Richard is pretty much spot on price wise.

I recently got a set of near mint 600 arabesque for just £6 off ebay and now reside on my winter bike.

Seen the 600AX levers without hoods go for as little as £10.

The brake callipers was auction and the levers was BIN.

My winter bike fitted with the near mint 600 brakes which came with the original brake
blocks and wire guides and the chrome on all the bolts are mint.

I can confirm that the 600 ax levers are only worthwhile with hoods. Replacement hoods are next to impossible to find! I just purchased a NOS 600 ax lever with excellent hoods for USD$150
