Shimano 600 / 105 hub, 6 / 7 speed, 126mm, MA40 / Open Pro

Retro Newbie
My MA40 / 105 wheel seems to be playing up. 2 wheels trues and it still goes out after one ride. I'm looking for the following to replace it:

Shimano 600 or 105 rear hub, 6 or 7 speed, 126mm, on MA40 or Open Pro rim.

Just that please, nothing similar. Will consider a complete set with the front wheel, although only need the rear.

It's to go on an old 1989 Peugeot 653 Ultima, my main (and only current) ride, which is now out of action :( So kind of need a replacement wheel ASAP.

Please direct message me if you have something suitable. I'm based in East London and can collect and pay cash in person.

Thanks.

Should also mention - Clinchers only please.

Will consider other rims too as long as they're in good condition and strong. Need a complete rear wheel ASAP though please, preferably for collection in London.

Re: Shimano 600 / 105 hub, 6 / 7 speed, 126mm, MA40 / Open P

I have a 105 36H hub laced to a CXP 28H rim.
It has a 7 speed 13-26 Miche Shimano compatible cassette fitted.
The rim and cassette look like new.
I'd like £60 complete and can deliver to Sheen area on Friday / saturday or post.

Not quite what I'm after, but thanks for the reply.

Anyone else? Need one soon to get back on the bike.

Hey. Thanks for the offer but I've not had any experience with tubs so would prefer to go clincher if possible, and buy rather than borrow. Really appreciate the offer though.

Re: Shimano 600 / 105 hub, 6 / 7 speed, 126mm, MA40 / Open P

I've got a six speed 600 hub, on it's own.

Yup... not really useful.

Got some 600 hubs on the way for a new build, just need a complete rear wheel at the moment, by tomorrow.
