It looks like the "shill" bidder was going up in £4.00 incriments until he was the highest bidder

He gets outbid at the end and gives up? :?

I dont really understand ebay, i just pop in my maximum bid and find out after its ended

i don't get why people on this forum always assume shill bidding? What passes as shill bidding is how i bid when i buy stuff on ebay...it may seem silly but i prefer to do it that way.

Psychologically it discourages me from spending too much because i see the price increasing gradually, whilst just clicking once to put in a max bid wouldn't seem so real to me...so i would put in more then regret it later.
