yea im interested in what you think off the hub, i only know one person that has one and his reports arnt that brilliant, but it could just be him !! im really keen on the idea, and would like one on one of my rides.

the Rohloff is the shinizzle...I've got them on 2 bikes and will NEVER go back to derailleurs again.

They take about 500 miles to break in so that they shift smoothly, but once they do they are butter. Plus being able to shift immediately when pedaling, coasting, or just standing still brings a whole 'nother dimension into the way you attack the trail.

I've got a customer that says the same thing. He says that it is a bit noisy in a couple of the gears but it's nothing to worry about. I've been looking at getting one but it's just getting that much money together.

I was speaking to the UK importers for these things and they say that they were surprised at how durable they've turned out to be. They had ordered in a load of spares in case of warranty work but they've not needed them so far.
