Very sad news, if you had a technical question the response was almost invariably "have a look at Sheldon Brown". Was looking at his article on mechanical advantage and setting up cantis only on Friday.

Just seen this! I cant believe it!

Passed away the same day as my Grandmother, both will be sorely missed
