That's a lovely bike. I nearly bought one of those in 97, but ended up getting a Rockhopper instead.

I also have had a 97 rockhopper and they are both the same ride,very similar bikes.

I had the steel on in red, loved the thing. It even came with Specialized Strongarm cranks and v-brakes, great for a £400 bike in 97!
