Shed find in new house......any ideas?

Found this today in the shed of our new house, can anyone point me in the right direction as to if its worth anything

Honestly, they left it, because is isn't.

Chuck some air in the tyres and ride it to the pub, and have transport home when pissed without having to carry a heavy lock.

There is a thrivng trade in Raleigh records with the gold kit. I'd ask in the road section more about the bike. How old it is and how much original kit it still has on it.

Record gold adonised parts are very sort after, the bike would make around £100 on the bay. Try on the road section would be interested depending onwhere abouts you are located

Wasn't there a two versions or the Record Sprint, a BSO with plastic shifters etc and enough Reynolds to get the sticker, and a far better model with juicy gold components...?
