Wanted Set of MTB Wheels with road tyres..

Hi all, As a bit of an experiment I'm after a set of 26inch wheels, complete with 8 speed cassette, rim brake compatible with road tyres. They are going onto a kona Kilaueu to see if they turn a fat 64 year old into a TDF contender.

Hi Martin. Not sure how skinny a tyre you’re after but I’ve got a pair of Schwalbe City Jet 1.5” Active Line K-Guard I’m about to put up for sale.
No noticeable wear to the tread but they could do with a clean as they’ve been sat in the shed for a few weeks. Asking £20 posted for the pair

I may be able to put together a set of mavic on Deore with Schwalbe tyre's but a cassette may be a bit of a challenge

They will be about £40 which includes postage
