Servicing Pace RC36 Forks

Doomanic

Devout Dirtbag
Anyone got a service manual or exploded diagram?

I looked on the Pace site but they weren't immediately obvious...

If they are 1997, I have some A4 copies of the owners manuals from Pace.
They give a brief explanation of servicing and strip down, but no diagrams.

I can scan and Email or copy and post if you want.

PM me if you would like a copy.

Edited:

Seen your GT, they definitely look like 1997....so..as above or contact Tim (justbackdated) on here. He is the font of knowledge for all things Pace, and services Pace forks.

Which RC36s are they?

TBH, I'm not even sure they are 36's. :?
They are coil sprung with a oil cartridge.

There's a chap on here called justbackdated who used to work for pace and services paces for a fair price if you get stuck

Yeah. I'd just get Tim Justbackdated to do them. By the time you have stripped them, cleaned everything and then bought parts, it would work out cheaper and faster to get Tim to do them. He does a cracking job and really gets the best out of these forks. Lovely bloke too.
