Servicing bike in small flat?

but wont be doing much mtbing, jsut bike paths and such with the gf to explore the city... got white carpets throughout...

Cycle rides to a suitable garage with a cafe and a washdown/carwash? Cycle there wash bikes, have meal while waiting for them to dry, grease up lightly, ride home. make a half day outing of it :?:

Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a slap! even just day to day use its never going to end well, red wine,food et al.

Our top floor is all white carpet, the only carpet in the house, and is a shoe/dog/cat free zone (supposedly!). Guests seem to appreciate it. Personally I would rather wear lambswool lined slippers than have carpet, but I don't make the rules around here.

Anyway, what is all this about washing bikes?

We are supposed to be men here, right?

Washing the bike in the lounge / bath / shower would be a quick route to castration for me!
