For Sale Serotta T-Max 1991 Neon 19 inch frame - needs work

Next on the chopping block is this early 90s T-Max. In probably one of the most iconic colour schemes of the 90s.

As you can see it’s seen some action and has plenty of patina and some surface rust. I have no idea if the original paint can be salvaged or whether it will need to ve stripped completely and repainted.

19 inch frame
19.5 c-t
This one has the slightly longer top tube of 22.5

1 inch head tube
26.8 seatpost

Price reflects the work needed to make it good.

Only ridden mine once since I assembled it and indeed Max OR is coveted for a reason…

Absolutely correct…they are rockets to ride…zero energy wasted when you apply pedal force !

Mine had the same paint…perfect for the very early 90s music/fashion scene

This sounds “cruel” but found one of those in a dumpster in 2009 next to a Seattle bike shop.
Same frame, fork and paint but in near perfect shape. Was a certified Serotta fitter (went to classes @ Serotta - Ben was a cool perfectionist) so knew exactly what I scored.
Was 17” - to small so built up with XC-Compe and gifted it to a fellow shop employee.
Easy come, easy go.
