I've been hunting for a matching pair of hope biguns for a few years......and now I've got 8 hubs and 10 Rotors.
The wife is probably going to kill me.

Is it just me being silly or anyone else think they're effin awesome.

One set of mk1 36h red
One set of mk1 36h black
One set of mk2 32h purple
One set of mk2 36h red

Now to get them built... :)

Re:

They are indeed effin awesome :D

I'm still running a set of MK1's I had handbuilt to Mavic D521CD's by Gary at GA cycles in Southampton back in March '98 as part of my Team Marin D.H.

Amazingly given the life they've had, Still going strong and running silky smooth to this day on original bearings, freehub etc! albeit they are somewhat pinker than the day they left the Hope factory though (they were red!)......

They make for an immensely strong, stiff wheel due to the increased flange size and reduced spoke length, and whilst they're a bit heavier than the average hub, they're not ridiculous so you get a stronger wheel with negligible penalty with regard to rotational weight..... and they look like Talon motocross hubs
