SECOND WELD UP PROJECT ONLY A LITTLE ONE *update*

Hi this my second weld up project its an 09 commencal meta 6.3 so heres goes

rockshox lyrik u turn forks
fox rp23 rear shock
saint crank with a raceface narrow wide
shimano zee shifter and clutch derailleur 10spd
hope x2 brakes f203/r185

where were broken the frame? a crack near the toptube weld to the seatTube?

Yep top tube to seat post

Seems like an odd place to break.
Maybe not enough seat tube in.

Weren't most of these sold at silly cheap prices by on one with a warning that cracking is likely and offering no warranty?

Admire the work a lot I really do. But just don't see any alu frames being worth the hassle repairing.

Its costs me nothing to do to repair them always worth ago dont know if on one sold this frame never a seen an on one like this only commencal

Nah never bothered cos both frames I've welded where the crack has never been a huge crack plus I dont do huge jumps or drop offs 2 3ft drop offs is enough for me
