Hello, I am looking for some advice / guidance
I have a freshly stripped and polished aluminium frame (Bigfoot Ozone). The external diameter of the seatpost tube is 34.9. The iternal diameter seems to be 31.8 (maybe 31.6)
I am looking for a lightweight silver (cool!) seatpost and clamp.
I have a shim that seems to work and take the seatpost diameter down to 27.2. I think this is a more common size of seat post? In any event shims seem very cheap so I think my job is find a seat post and clamp I like and then shim it appropriately.
Can anyone provide me with a brief idea of whether I should focus my efforts on a 27.2 post? They do seem more common. I have been drooling over some silver XTR ones
Also seat post collars. I would like a nice silver retro one, but can't seem to find anything suitable. Everything seems a bit functional!
