Seatpost size on old Marin Eldridge Grade (I guess from '94)

Hi all, wonderful board here! Writing from Italy.

Last year I acquired a Marin from the nineties, which I currently use for cyclotourism.

I'm now searching for a different seatpost, but the bicycle is not here (I work a few hundred kms from home at this moment).

Could you help me with the correct seatpost size? I heard Marin got funky with seatposts back then. The pic is attached.

'94's had 26.8 or 27.0 but yours is a '95 model so it might pay to wait until you receive it and check the stamp on the bottom of the seatpost bud.

Thank you. Sadly now I don't have the bike with me.
