Problem not as bad as I first thought. I tried a 27.2 in the frame & got it jammed So after loosing my rag with it & enough swearing to make a Greek sailor blush :x it came out.

Now on the look-out for a silver 27.0 post.....

Ah! Now it becomes clearer! When you said stuck I assumed it was the age-old problem of the seized-in seatpost..

Got a Thomson in the KK, not period correct I know but a nice seatpost nevertheless.
