Seatpost and Headset Sizing for Alpinestars Cro-mega LX T26

Does anyone know the seatpost and headset sizes for this bike? I'm trying to build up one, but I'm unable to find out the sizes, most importantly the headset. It seems to be some weird sizing?

It doesn't help that the previous owner forced in a seatpost (seatpost opening is warped) and I had to do a caustic soda treatment on it.

I'd post a link to the bike I'm talking about but I must have 1 post before I can do so

Well for future reference for anyone reading this thread, the seatpost is a 29.4mm.

Still haven't found the headset sizing though.

Well almost all Alpinestars from that era were 1-1/4" evolution size, however the T24 and T26 models used a ZSS (zero stack system) headset which I think might have been a uniqe size/design to these bikes, so you may have quite a search (or long wait) on your hands.

If you have a 1-1/4" headset, try the cups in the headtube, for fitment, and if i's too small, you might be able to get away with a cannondale 1-1/2" headset as a last resort?? just a thought.. :)

Did you ever resolve the headset issue ? I have the same problem on my T26, which has a cracked bearing race ring, so would like o replac it. I havent investigated thoroughly but may be cane creek headsets would work?...

He's talking about a T26.

Hi rampage, what diameter headset (internal for frame) did you put on your t26?

Sorry, it's not mine, it's from Google images.
I was just showing what bike the OP was meaning as there seemed to be some confusion.

Ok. I think its 44mm ID, but i need to find more time to do some measurements - pair of calipers would be useful i guess! - anyone else out there?.
