Seat post clamp?

Hi if I have a 29.6mm seat post tube, can you tell me what size clamp I need please?

If you're nice I will post some before & after picks of my C16R circa 97.
Not that retro but 'in keeping' build.

You probably need a 34.9 but not necessarily. You should go to a bike shop and see if they have different sizes you can experiment with.

I have a 29.6 post on my GT and that is a 31.8mm seat clamp

What are your tubes made from Dave ?....wrought iron

I think the seat tube on the C16R is a 31.8 and it doesn't have external butting, so you need a 31.8 clamp (i.e., one that measures about 33mm)

1. Superlight bolt up clamp with load spreading thread and stainless bolt, black alloy collar, as new condition - £7 posted

2. Hope QR clamp, black alloy collar and lever, as new again - £14 posted
