I'm off to the powder coaters now, and I'm single speed all the way.

Thank you sir !! I've just ordered some Pipedream chromoly rigid forks to try on it and I might even play about with a 29" front wheel too.
Just because a change is as good as a rest, I suppose...

I was tempted to get some carbon forks, but I decided to play safe and stick with steel (even though I'm sure the carbon forks would have been more than strong enough - after all, plenty of people use them).

I'm thinking that soon I may reduce my fleet to one SS and one geared as SS covers so many areas.

I must agree, maving bought my Cube, I no longer need my other geared MTB so switching it to an allround SS, then my racingbike is going on the bay.
