Found an original Scott/SRP1 fork so can continue this build. Probably will swap the stem for something zero rise.

it had a softspot BITD for these Scotts - nowaydays Scott bikes dont turn my head.

Yeah, these early nineties Scott bikes, I'm a fan of them. I started biking in 1991 and my first mountainbike was a Scott Windriver. I went through their catalogs a million times, back then and I guess that's why I have 11 of their bikes in my shed (all 1990-1996).

I have just received mine last week. Exactly the same like yours.

I will have to change the brakes (now with Deore V´brake), XTR cranks and rings, and shifters.

Where did you get the fluor cable?
