Hi guys,
Been re-searching this now for a few weeks, and got about 700 screen grabs stored up of Scott Unishock forks. I know this is probably an impossible find. But i was after a 1991 (none recall model) scott unishock fork 1 1/8.
I don't care about the cosmetic condition, it would be amazing if they functioned, but if there stuck thats ok.
From my research it seems only the forks made from 1991 till 1992 were safe from the recall. Please correct me if this is wrong.
And that it was mainly the first white leg coil spring versions (not the elastomer version) that were safe from the recall.
But this thread below shows a full on carbon / with elastomer scott fork from 1991 so i've become a little confused.

If any of OG Scott lovers has a timeline with corresponding images of first unishock models that were sold in 1991, could you please post it?
In the scott catalogues there were no unishocks until the 92 catalgoue and its seems all bikes released with them were included in the recall.
Also i know some have said that its just a as dangerous to be riding a 30 year old aluminum frame as it is to ride a recall unishock and as this fork would just be used to riding around mainly flat roads and toe paths not bombing down hills etc i will probably just go for a recall verison if its impossible to get a 1991 pre-recall version.
If anyone has one they want to park with please do let me know.
To anyone that replies thanks so much for the help and advice.
