I am loading my Scott Peak Adventure onto ebay this evening, I hope that Retrobikers will see it so have attached a photo here. I bought it in 1991 and have had some of the best times of my life on it. The frame is 17", 21 gears Shimano 200GS. I put slick tyres on it many years ago, and Onza bar ends the day I bought it, but apart from that it is original. There are many scratches and chips as it has covered many miles, I have tried to show the condition as best I can on the photos. It's 21 years old but still gets admired due to the great colour.

Hello, I am happy to see what it brings at auction. The only way I know to value something is to see what it brings, so if it goes for 99p so be it! I have specified local collection so that may limit the interest, it's not that I don't want to arrange a courier I just can't think how I would package it up securely. This bike has been a fab buy, hence keeping it for so long. I have just bought a road bike and it HAD to be a Scott because this Peak has been so eye catching, versatile and presentable for so long.

I bought this bike from lummox123 back in November and over the winter I've been doing it up for my youngest boy. I just thought I'd post a photo of the finished job so she could see what became of her bike.
It needed a full strip down and repaint because the rust worms had got under the paint on the top and down tubes and it was starting to bubble up.
I replaced a lot of the components with bits from my stash and off ebay, and it's now looking good and ready to give another 20 years of fun - overall a very enjoyable winter project, much more fun than sitting watching the telly!!
