Scott Boulder (1989/90 I think!!!) Tange Infinity Frame

Scott Boulder (1989/90 ish, not sure)
Rigid Bike, Pink Frame with black seat tube and black rigid forks (nice Retro colours!!).
Tange Infinity MTB Cro Mo Tapered Double Butted Tubing.
Shimano Deore Groupset with Biopace chainrings and Shimano Deore "Light action" SIS Shifters.
Araya 26 x 1.5 Rims, gold colour if that helps.
X Lite bar ends.
Seat has disintegrated and although I have just stripped it and cleaned it, does need a new bottom bracket, brake blocks,front tyre and a chain. I have just fitted new cables all round, but may need new straddle cables between the brakes to work effectively and a slight buckle in the rear wheel. Could just do with tweaking, which I am not good at so will leave it to someone who has the knowledge to do so.
Would not win a beauty pageant as frame has scratches and wear to a fair bit, but does look presentable. I can e mail pics if anyone wants to see.

Definitely 89!

I had the same one, an am planning to bring it back to life. Currently my sister is riding this trough singapore, resprayed in blue

In 89, these were really good rides for the price. I remember a german bike-magazine still saying....aaaah, remember the 89 Boulder... from time to time.

Really nice geometry and all. I remember buying it on 11.11.1989 for 1550 DM, which is 775 Euros now.

As I tuned it in the early 90ies with Deore XTII Parts (Hyperglide, short mech, 2-finger levers and stuff) and Araya RM20 Rims, I guess I will do a rebuild with a complete XTII group.
