I had the Pro version back in the 90s - liked the extra hand positions - but a nightmare to get levers and grips on

ditto, I had the Pro's too. I wasn't smitten with them (quite as much as I was staring at them through the shop window for weeks beforehand) but they work obviously. Personally I would not fit them to that E-stay, it looks like the back of the bike lost something & the front of it gained something. The balance is 'off'.
