I didn't get a discount.
An anecdote from my trips to the east coast of Denmark, which is riddled with Germans, Dutchies, Poles and Swedes during the summer. I recall standing in a charity shop, a man wanting to buy something for his daughter, he was being awfully polite - chatting with this older Danish woman who owned the charity shop, they were both speaking English with an interjection of a German word here and there.
Suddenly the old lady mentions the war, starts speaking about how bad the Germans were, and how it's nice that they don't seem to be 'like that no more', to which his heart sank and he began explaining about how he hates war and how Germany is nothing like that anymore.
I felt pretty bad for him. And the irony is the old conservative hag probably votes Danish Folkparty - a vile racist party full of pigblanket Danes.
But anyway, no discount! Next time I'm playing up my surname's possibly Jewish roots.

I thought so too, I'd rather not bother with polishing anything, and I felt like the roughed up silver look would do just fine. Also I got it for 15 euro.. And Profile stems are in my opinion solid stuff.

It does feel really solid, GT stem and stooge junker bars.
The bell isn't a legal thing, I just need it every day to and from work.
BMX stems, especially top-load as that's the preference these days, all go for chip money but are far more solid than any MTB stem I've ever had. My favourite cheapo stems are from the Fiction brand which I believe is owned by STOLEN - all Taiwanese goodies.
