When you measure the cup size hold the calipers so that they're flat to table
And measure the tube in different places a few times.....they're rarely truly round ....get a like an average reading.
I'll open a few frames up later and see what kind of interence fit were looking for....you might well be close enough with paint being removed

Yeah measure a few times write it down and close calipers ....if the calipers don't read zero when closed they've gibbed out! So do it again!

I can't stand those digital things. Royal pain in the arse they are. Ones with no batteries and integrated thumb pusher and lock are great.
