SBDU (Denton Cycles) 753R 1984 with 50th Anniversary Group

Just picked this up tonight. Less than 25 miles away from where I live. Tucked away in a garage for over 20 years and having only covered approx 1000 miles in total before being stored away.

All completely original with only some surface corrosion to the chrome fittings. This is 50th anniversary group number 09555. An SBDU 753R frame (SB639 ordered by an employee of Denton Cycles hence the Denton Livery.

Full 50th group with Cinelli saddle and Mavic OR10 rims. Stainless double butted bladed spokes.










I still cannot believe that this bike is actually in the house!

It found me. I got an email from the owner on Saturday asking if I wanted to buy it.

It will get taken apart over the winter and I'll clean the frame. The frame has barely a mark on it so just needs a freshen up and some framesaver on the inside.

Parts will be treated for the surface rust if they are really bad (toe clips have suffered most) and then put back together with new grease back to how it is now. Maybe some new tubs and it will be back on the road on nice days next summer.

I'm going to try and keep it as original as possible so no replacement parts if I can get away with it.
