Thanks guys, im really pleased with how it came out. Marks done a cracking job on the paint and matched it spot on, Del again has done the decals bang on.
The decals were a pain to do as they are so long. Bought spares, glad I did as I got a few air bubbles and had to re do a couple. Their not cleared over. I was going to but as the originals weren't I decided to stick with keeping it how it was.
The bottles came from ebay, I ended up with two types but managed to swap one with a member here who had 3 of 1 and 1 of 1 so that he had 2 pairs and I had a matching pair.
The TA cages started out as black which for some reason were a lot cheaper than silver but after a night in paint striper and a polish came out as they are. The white plastic ends came off of two battered cages.
Just found and bought the bb so once I get that the chain set can go on. Then its just the front mech and seat post to go in terms of the groupset.

Trouble is in the one and only pic I can find of this frame in action its very hard to tell whether Fignon is using black or silver bars.
In all the pic of him on a normal frame there seems to be a mix, I've managed to find an original 80's black ITM stem and a pair of silver bars as well as a pair of nos black ITM italia bars.
I think I will end up using the black bars as they are more iconic imho, but as this is a Jean-Claude frame I will stick with white bar tape rather than the 3 colour even thou I am building to Fignon spec.

But ........ I was given a gift today by my LBS and have to say that I am pretty dam chuffed with it and can't believe his generosity

A beauty, gorgeous and with history - I remember an older thread of a similar build, bikemeister2000 was giving some advice and stuff on it, I wonder where he is?
