Wrong era. The 'Team' prefix began appearing from the 1997 model year onwards.
Those ones also have rounded edges on the 'Saracen' lettering. Should be much more angular.

Today's the day for sanding.

Mrs HM left me a note and a sheet saying I could stay in the kitchen! Really not sure how this is going to turn out but nothing ventured as they say.........

Hmmmmmmmmmmm

First stay took 30 mins but noticed that paint was rippling where I was holding the frame. Not ready yet then. Interesting effect. Will leave it another couple of days as the paint it rubbing up rather than sanding in places as it's not hardened off yet.

It will be interesting to see if you get the same effect once the paint has hardened properly.

That stay was nice and hard. Where the paint is thicker around the bb etc it was absorbing the dust and discolouring so I stopped.

Should have done this in the summer. How long do you think I'll get away with it?

Lovely watching the relief appear. Will see if I can find cheap decals but this is not going to be pretty build wise so not that fussed. Will see what else is on the bay.
