I always wanted one of these, the rear stays are just lovely. Took a punt on eBay a while back on this but it turned out to be too small or I'd be restoring it to full glory.
It's got its issues. The main one being the previous owner fitted a crappy crank with a short BB and the chain ring has cut a hole in the chain stay.
I sent some pics to our resident frame saver @danson67 who said it wasn't bad at all, and a patch weld and gusset would sort it out.
It has patina, it's tange prestige tubing, lovely rear stays and original segmented fork which has a steerer length of around 220mm. Frame size is 17.5 c2c, 19.5 c2t. Has a Ritchey logic headset, I think the original stem. Bb threads are all good, all the crappy parts the previous owner fitted came off with ease and went straight in the bin, so that was a plus and a surprise.
If it were 19.5 c2c I'd be getting her fixed up, repainted and built.
I'd love to see this back to it's former glory
Looking for £50 Inc UK postage. Forks are probably worth near that. I'd keep the forks and use them on another build, but the frame and fork deserve to be together.
