Saracen hardtrax MTB handlebar be raised?

Hi can the handlebar be risen as the standard bar doesnt go up much , what would I need for this bike thanks

Sound like you either want a new stem with higher rise than the current one (quill or ahead style depending on what you have), or you could get a riser handlebar to add the height you want. A riser bar tends to need a stem with a removable face plate as you'll struggle to fit it through the angles of the bar without scratching the hell out of it, if it's even possible.

Whichever route you go, you may need to replace all your brake and gear cables to cope with the extra distance they have to go to reach their new bar position.

You could get an adjustable height stem, but they are heavy and imo, ugly.
