No panic. I’m sticking with the original fork. Thinking about putting the original fork on my T max too

The guy I swapped my Merlin frame with bought one of these new in '89/90.

It was orange just like in the article with a color matched Salsa stem. He had a crack in the brazing and sent the frame back to Santana for repair and without asking they repainted and sent the bike back... in WHITE !

More progress on the build. Managed to track down a nice pair of 32 hole Matrix ISO-C rims which should arrive next week

I was tempted to sell this frameset but I’ve found new energy to complete this build.

It will be based on the two reviews and specs that I’ve managed to find from 89/90.

Here we go….,
