My old frame Pierre or a different one?

Yes it's your old frame ! :D
I began to built it last year but it was mysteriously bent. Perhaps in the shipping…
A friend who is builder could fix it but the painting get some damage. So, I went for a Jelly Bean paint job.
It's my first MTB with drop bar and it's a revelation :D

You like the drops Pierre? I’m tempted to try it on one of mine

Your bloody joking mate.

Where was it bent?

Re:

front triangle and rear triangle, like something very heavy crashed on it…
Perhaps during the shipping… I don't know. I saw that the day I began to built it. The wheel were never parallel. So, I took a ruler ands that top and diagonal tube were not straight. I showed it to a friend, frame craftsman who fixed it.

But don't worry. I know that you made the frame refreshed by Salsa. :D
Perhaps an accident during the shipping from UK to France…

But what is important : the end of the story is nice and the Salsa ride so well ! :D

 looks great fun to ride.

That stem is so steep the roller is nearly redundant :)

Re:

Yes but the front brake works very well. Dura Ace STI levers and BR M 732 are a good mix.

But question : Dura ace STI+ Shimano Deore XT M735 + 7 gears is top
But for front derailleur, Dura Ace STI works for only 2 rings. I know that Tomac used a little lever on his frame for shifting middle ring to inner or to switch to middle to outer. That lever works on road frame but not on mtb frame...
Who know a solution ?
