If I had it would be on your way. Never even had one. Another option for this build would be a suntour xc post. Maybe 20grs heavier but better than the shimano post and even more in tune w/ the era this build evokes.

That’s an idea although not sure I want to mix suntour abs Shimano. Also I think a suntour post is silver?

It´s more like grey than silver. It was the best seatpost i ever had. Just don´t round those allen bolts.
