I dont think is a original, it doesn't have the Paul Comp. track ends but a more simple flat one, it might be a 1997 A La Carte later modified for single speed or some thing like that.
but i can find find any real info on the 1997 single speed in the review so i really don't know if there where produced more than hand full of them.
