Saddles for comfort

found a picture of the Lidl one's as I relaise they probably change over the years.

They look like this in three different sizes (city, trekking and mountain style)
Wittkup saddles about £20/£25 on Amazon for the same thing, I was very sceptical as they where ~£10 in Lidl. Pleasently surprised.

Trekking

MTB (narrow), not used as much as the other yet.

as you can see from the reviews on there, YAMV....Your Arse May Vary

(links added in case I need to buy one again, I bought it in the first place as it looks nice and has a nice decent finish to it.. and it was cheap.  )

Favourite saddle of the Swiss and people who work for the Red Cross.

I had a San Marco Rolls and it was like sitting on a piece of narrow wood.

I've got two Rolls, one on my commuter, one on my tandem - the most comfortable saddle I've ever used. Mind you, they are both broken in or I'm broken in. I'd buy more for the right price... Some online are getting for a hundred quid!

Flites are uncomfortable - but they look soooooo good.

I've got a cheapish spesh one on my fisher that's okay, it's quite padded but that makes it feel quite weird - like it's twisting side to side in use.

As has been said, it's all subjective as we're all different. Shame you can't try before you buy like you can with mattresses and cars.

A bike shop near me does test saddles. My roadie neighbours used the service. One of my 2 most comfortable saddles, a Sella SMP Lite 209, is an ex test saddle from a closed down shop.

There you go look, live and learn.. . You'll be saying modern bikes don't need tubes next!
then you'll be saying they're better than Retro era Bikes
