after spending 2weeks without eating very much, he was given a sheep, so he setup camp & spent 3days eating the whole thing!

he has some truly amazing stories. next time he turns up, we plan to do an evening talk with him, if anybodys interested.

oh yeah, i weighed his bike! WITHOUT the panniers etc (& there is a lot!)
the bike alone weighs 49lbs!!

Blimey Chief! He would have been able to join our old team: Team Hippo for people whose bikes weighed over 32lb! Quite a bloke!

Being born and bred in Barnsley myself, the guy SHOULD have known that garages are not the right place to keep bikes in that part of the world. My dad's bike got nicked from the garage after 2 days when I was a kid.... Nobody in Barnsley keeps their bike in the garage!

Not that it makes it right of course.....
