Sachs Plasma rear mech.

needed a long cage rear mech. to finish the xizang build.
silly light and something a bit different to xtr.
good job i'm only a recreational rider as it doesn't look too strong!
shifts well and looks good though
cheap NOS find.

Seriously, the Plasma is silly light and shifts nicer than XTR on a XT/XTR cassette. On all of my bikes I've ever broken one main mounting bolt (which is designed to give before the derailleur does) from a direct impact after atmospheric reentry. :shock:

If you've seen any of my bikes you know I'm sold on the thing.

Whatever you do make sure that when the bike's parked up it's left in top gear to prolong the life of the spring. I went through 2 mechs in 3 months.
