Selling this hub which was originally built into a wheel for me by Alistair Gow of Wheelcraft in about 1994 I think. It's a bit grubby but in working order. I'm having a bit of a shed clearout and just looking to recover postage costs really.

Dibs please! Is it 32 or 36 hole? Are the bearings still smooth?

36 hole. Just spun the axle with my fingers and the bearings still feel smooth - it's been a few years since this was built into a wheel but my recollection was that the hub itself had no noticeable "roughness" about it. (Obviously the rim had worn out - that was why I dismantled the wheel).

Part of me wants to keep this, but I am moving to disc hubs for practical reasons (I am more of a tourist/commuter, rather than a mountain-biker). So it should really go to someone who is properly into the retro stuff.

As I'm not really making any money on this I'd rather not do international postage - been down that route before - hope you understand.

Anyone else interested before it goes on eBay?
