For Sale Saab 9-3 Turbo coupe 3dr SE Hot

Feature Bike
I know there are a few retro car fiends on here so may as well post this here: lack of space means I need to part ways with my old Saab: no MOT but an easy fix - new rear exhaust section and maybe rear handbrake shoes.

It’s the coupe in a good colour with the fast big turbo engine - more details and pictures on this Gumtree ad I’ve posted it there for £1850 or best offer, and will accept a good chunk less than that.

Nice car. I hope you don't get even 1% of idiots I encountered selling a car on gumtree 🫣
GLWS!
I was prepared for this, having done it a few times, but I’ve been deafened by silence so far …. Suspect that Gumtree (owned by eBay?) is now hobbling any adverts that don’t pay, and also that the used old car market is even less perky than the used bike market. (Especially for cheapo non-ULEZ cars).

An eBay outing is probably what it needs, but that seems to be a £40 outlay which ever way you do it these days. I increasingly long for the days of the Saturday newspaper classifieds:
“Saab for sale; very reliable; needs TLC. £1000 ONO, call xxxxxxxx”

As my boys said - “Dad, it is fast, but it’s a boomer car and you should just keep it and use it to take the dogs to the shops”

If you like 93 HOT's and Viggen's have a search on the interwebs for a brilliant swedish documentary that follows Per Eklund building his Pikes Peak hillclimb car. I saw the whole prog when i lived out there but i have seen snippets on youtube. Maybe the whole prog is there now and with subtitles. It is a brilliant doc showing the whole build and multi camera footage of the climb. Play the latter LOUD!

I'd probably have a look to see what Facebook groups there are. Still lots of idiots but at least they'll be idiots vaguely interested in a Saab rather than an idiot looking for a BMW or a Ford.

If you buy it I'll send you a tenner towards fixing it.
Maybe others on RB will do the same.
Don't encourage him, it will end up with cow horn bars instead of a steering wheel........ with tassles in the ends. A plastic rainbow coloured unicorn head on the bonnet, and a CB aerial welded to the roof. You have been warned 😂 😂
Fantastic looking car though, if I needed one, I may have considered it

I'll send £20 to see that whether it runs or not!
